June 25th equipment/food delivered for sea transport to Horizon Lines in Tacoma, WA
July 17th PM Operators arrived in Dutch Harbor, Alaska
July 20th Operators arrived in Nikolski, INTERESTING FACT: Nikolski is one of the longest
continuously occupied villages in North America. Almost 9,000 years of continuous
occupation.
July 21st Sail direct to Chuginadak Island. Cleveland Volcano erupted 30 minutes before
our arrival
July 22nd Unloaded cargo onto the island and constructed camp and station.
July 26 - July 27th IOTA Contest till 4AM local time
July 27th Removed antennas and operating position.
July 27th Packed and loaded material on Lady Gudney.
July 27th Made a detour to Nikolski to p/up people and July 28th AM arrived in Dutch Harbor
July 27th loaded equipment with Horizon Lines storage for transport via sea to Tacoma.
July 29th Flight to Anchorage to participate in Alaska Hamfest 2008, ARRL Alaska
Convention.
August 5th everybody met back in Seattle.
